  10. This installer requires the ORIGINAL disks from Mortal Kombat (there are 2).
  11. The HD-Patched game will need about 2Mb of FAST memory and 1 or 2Mb more
  12. for the game itself, which makes 3Mb a minimum, but (almost) any HD owner
  13. has got 3Mb.
  14. It should work on ALL Kickstarts and ALL CPUs.
  15. Report me any bugs you'll find.

  17. Note: I created and tested this package with a A1200/060/50 16Mb, so there should
  18. be no problem for all 680x0 CPUs.

  20. Version V1.0 of the loader did not take advantage of the allowed cpu caches
  21. properly and did not disable specific '060 caches. Besides, it sometimes exited
  22. with no reason, without doing anything, or loaded and locked up.

  24. KNOWN BUGS:
  25.  
  26. 1) There is a kind of graphics corruption with player 1. I don't know where
  27. it comes from, but if I find I'll let you know. Anyway, that's not very noticeable
  28. (it happens only when you don't move).

  30. 2) When the disks are copied during installation, the pointer freezes. That's
  31. normal cause the game uses a custom trackload routine (copy-protection), and
  32. it does not easily multitask. No checks are done to see if you swapped the disks
  33. or not.
